Service Description

Register for class using the DANCER REGISTRATION FORM at the top of the page. This class term runs September 2023 through the end of June 2024. However, new students can join at any time. New students must schedule an introductory private lesson before being added into a class. Advanced Beginner is open to new dancers age 7 & up or continuing Beginner dancers with teacher approval. Each class continues to emphasize the fundamentals (focus on the FUN!) of Irish dance, using games and skill-building activities while adhering to our three tenets of technique, teamwork, and tradition. Pending instructor discretion, dancers in Advanced Beginner may start hard shoe in this class. Dancers will be invited to perform in our Spring Showcase at the end of the year and are eligible to sign up for CREATIVE CHOREOGRAPHY Prerequisite: Beginner Level, 1+ year experience Shoes Required: Soft Shoes (Hard Shoe in 2nd half of year) Material Covered: Reel, Light Jig + Basic Slip Jig, Hard Shoe Basic Drills Competitive Level: Competing at Beginner Level (optional) Prior to signing up for classes at the studio, please read and review our updated 2023-24 Studio Syllabus found at the top of the page or at www.milwaukeeirishdance.com/syllabus ​

Cancellation Policy

Milwaukee Irish Dance Studio requires a 60 day written notice to withdraw from an enrolled course. Class tuition including 6-week series, specialty classes, workshops and studio rentals are non-refundable and non-transferable.
