Service Description

For dancers interested in learning or competing in Trad Sets! Traditional Set dances have standardized choreography performed the same way by dancers around the world, making them a unique part of Irish dance heritage. This class is designed for dancers competing in Traditional Set - either as a standalone event or as their third round of competition - as well as those interested in learning and exploring these dances. The primary focus will be St. Patrick's Day, including both the Original and Molyneaux versions. If time and the competitive season allow, additional Trad Sets may also be introduced. Prerequisite: Sufficient hard shoe experience is required. Please ask your teacher if you are unsure whether this class is a good fit. Dancers must also be enrolled in Intermediate II, Intermediate Adult, Advanced Adult, Pre-Champ, or Champ. Material Taught: Traditional Set Dances Cost: $55 / month
