Spring Showcase - Dancer Sign Up

Join us for our Spring Showcase!

Who is invited to dance at the showcase? Anyone and everyone! 

What is the commitment for the showcase? 

Friday, May 12th 4:30pm - 7:30pm (rehearsal)

*adults will rehearse Wednesday, May 10th 7:00pm - 9:00pm*

Saturday, May 20th 12:00pm - 4:00pm

6- week dancers schedule:

Friday, May 12th - Rehearsal: Arrive by 5:20, rehearsal between 5:30 and 6:00 pm 

Saturday, May 20th - Performance: Arrive by 2:45, fully dressed and ready to go

There will be a $40 charge to your account to participate in the Spring Showcase

What costumes are needed?

6-week dancers: Kid + Kin / Pre-School / Cont. Pre-School

Boys:

• plain white button down shirt
• suspenders and bowtie 
• black pants
• black socks
• black ballet slippers

Girls:

• white ruffle socks 
• black ballet slippers
• blue glitter leotard
• bow (provideded by Miss Molly)

6-week dancers: Beginner Irish Dance

• ultra low poodle socks (if you don't own them, linked is a store based out of MKE)
• Irish dance shoes (we have used ones at the studio) or black ballet slippers
• navy dress
• hair half up and down with a rhinestoned white bow (we have NEW bows that should -fingers crossed- come in time that will be included in the price to participate in the spring showcase)

Advanced Beginner / Novice Dancers:

• ultra low poodle socks (if you don't own them, linked is a store based out of MKE)
• Irish dance shoes
• school dress - if you do not have a dress yet, we have a couple of extra ones at the studio - otherwise, please get the navy dress that the Beginner Class is wearing. There is a new order coming soon for our school dresses but they won't arrive in time for the showcase - they will however arrive in time for our Class Feis and Milwaukee Irish Feis!
• wig - as the trends change in Irish dance we are going to transition to the shorter Ciara wig from Camelia Rose, it is similar to our current style - just shorter if you have the one from Antonio Pacelli you don't need a new one. If you need a wig, email celestemidc@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 26th. We can color match, order one for you and charge your account.

Champ Class:

Adults: 

• black tights 
• dance shoes
• yellow skirt 
• white t-shirt
• white headband available for purchase at the studio

This will be a fun way to celebrate the (almost) end of the year and we hope that you can join us! This will be open to friends, family, neighbors - whoever wants to come. Tickets are $5, you can purchase them here - dancers and volunteers will get in for free. Purchase your tickets HERE.
