Port Washington Christmas Parade

We are super excited to be a part of Port Washington's Christmas on the Corner🎄 

PARADE DETAILS: 

NEW TIME!! Plan on arriving at the Marina parking lot (106 North Lake Street, Port Washington, WI 53074) between 3:15 pm and 4:15 pm, as the streets will be closed at 4:30 pm sharp. The parade as a whole will start around 5:15 pm, shortly after the tree lighting ceremony. If you know that you will be running late or are coming from another event, an alternate arrival route is available - ALT ROUTE PARADE STAGING 

Parade spot is number 22

The parade will start at the corner of Broadway Popcorn and end at the Grand Ave & Wisconsin Street intersection. PARADE ROUTE

NEW ROUTE ENDING: All parade participants are required to turn south on Wisconsin Street for the dispersal of parade participants. Please use the parking lot behind the Chocolate Chisel to unload parade participants and parental pick-ups. 

If you'd like to stick around following the parade, there will be a fireworks display at Rotary Park immediately after the parade.

We will bring skirts / parade packs that have not been picked up to the parade! If you are waiting on a new skirt size - you'll be able to pick them up this week! 

PARADE DETAILS 

  

COSTUMES:

Dancers (girls)

• velvet skater skirt (purchased through the studio)
• white pullover crewneck sweater (we don't care if it's plain or cable knit - the warmer the better!)
• fleece lined nude tights (we recommend something like this: child option, adult option 1, adult option 2)
• poodle socks 
• black shorts - to wear under the skirt (adult option, child option)
• white tennis shoes (any plain white pair will work!) w/ light up shoe laces (part of the parade pack)
• white ear muffs / white gloves / white scarf ("parade pack" purchased through the studio)

Dancers (boys)

• black pants
• white pull over sweater (we don't care if it's plain or cable knit - the warmer the better!))
• white ear muffs / white gloves / white scarf ("parade pack" purchased through the studio)
• white tennis shoes  (any plain white pair will work!) w/ light up shoe laces (part of the parade pack)

Friends / Parents / Siblings

• green Milwaukee Irish Dance sweatshirt (parents / friends / siblings who get a sweatshirt will also get a pair of light up shoe laces) **for sweatshirts please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery**

We'll provide foam glow sticks to carry in the parade!
