First time for my 5yo dancing at the fest - a couple last minute questions!
For tonight, if we can't go in with the little ones, will your chaperones be able to carry little dancer gear for us and help kids into it? That is, can you help my kid change in and out of her ballet slippers and make sure she doesn't misplace her tennis shoes, rain coat, water bottle, etc.? I'll label everything too.
Is there a rain contingency plan?
Tried to buy tickets online this morning, but the site says sales have ended. Can I still buy tickets at the gate?
Thank you and Go n-éirí libh ☘️!
Hi Caitlin! I am one of the chaperones! I can answer that question. We will be happy to help littles into dance shoes and keep track of dance bags/water bottles/etc.
Tickets are usually available at the gates for purchase! My suggestion would be to drop your little at the south end with us, then walk down to the north end gate to buy a ticket and go in. The stage is on the north end. Then you're already near the stage when you enter and don't have to make a mad dash to the stage ☺️
And irish fest typically does not cancel performances for rain, only if the weather is threatening. Similar to how other festivals operate.
Hope this helps!
